Quinta de Couselo Selección is a white wine from the D.O. Rías Baixes produced by the Quinto de Couselo winery.

Vinification: Rigorous control Of the vineyard with manual harvest Of grapes in 15 kg boxes. Immediate transport to the winery, where the grapes are placed in a refrigerated chamber at a controlled temperature of 50C.

Selection Of individual clusters using a vibrating inspection table.

Destemming and whole berry maceration prior to pneumatic pressing. Natural, static clarification. Temperature controlled fermentation. The wine then rests on its own fine lees for 28 months and then in bottle for a minimum of 6 months more, before reaching sufficient maturity for release.

Tasting Notes


Visual aspect: Beautiful, deep yellow with steely border. Clean and very bright.

Nose: Intense floral aromas (dried flowers, rose petals) and ripe fruit: apple, pear, lemon. Preserved white fruit and stone fruit. Wild herbs (thyme), caramelised lemon, river pebbles.

Palate: Enveloping entry with body and volume. Floral and intense fruit notes. Good minerality. Refreshing, unctuous, well balanced and elegant.



Shellfish, cured meats, oily fish, white meats, seafood rice dishes, cheese.
